Fatshion February Day 13 - Continuous Snow edition.
It wasn’t really cold today but the snow has been coming down in thick clumps. Also, my baby lost his last puppy tooth, is getting a bit taller, and looking less corgi and more pitbull each day. Ruby does not like that this puppy with smitten with me.
Pullover - Rust-colored Patagonia fleece that I took from my old job on a cold day. It needs some mending and one sleeve has lost it’s binding, but I love this thing. Size large.
Shirt - Sad story about my unseen shirt: Our friends at Electric Art gave this to me during our last visit to see them in May 2010. Electric Art still exists, but the location on my shirt was demolished by the tornado last May. I haven’t seen any pictures of the area where the shop was located, save for the devastating one of my best friend’s father, who was also the shop manager, looking through the debris for salvageable items. Size medium.
Jeans - Old Navy Flirt. They’re one or two wears away from a major rip on the inner thighs. A mending day is in order. Size 18.
Shoes - Ponys, thrifted in KC. Fifty percent of the reason I wanted these was because I needed water-resistant sneakers to wear in the winter. Snow boots for six months of the year is not something I enjoy. Size 8.
Hat - my usual improvised hat I knit.
* Fun fact: My ceiling is only about 6’5” and my doors are only about 6’2” high. So that my height in ratio to my door height is an optical illusion.
