I met with my field instructor!

I put on my lucky shoes and met my field instructor. We talked about what my internship will look like and where I’ll be placed. It wasn’t quite an interview, but it went really well. They have an opening in the program for families with children under 6 (exactly what I wanted) and by spring I will have my own caseload! My own caseload!

She said that by the end of the academic year I will have basic skills and be prepared for my year at DCF. The whole prospect is terrifying and exciting. I’ll be doing exactly what I want. Oh my.
