I finally got around to blocking some lace. I bought these kids play mats over the summer and now that our table is cleaned off, it’s the perfect time to block all this stuff I have. The orchid shawlette was my first lace project and is 3 years old. The blue and green kerchief was finished a month ago.
I have such wild Saturday nights.

The bonnet of my dreams.
I’m two seconds from crying, I want this so badly

I need this. With ribbon straps.
I need to step up my lace knitting. I am totally capable of Laminaria.
(via we are large, people: Tutorial: Easy Petticoat of AWESOME)
pretty and simple lace-hem petticoat i’m going to make this weekend, now that i have a working sewing machine!
Heck yes! I don’t think I’ll be doing it this weekend, but this is in my must do plans.
Oh this is pretty bad. Some of the prices for these are just horrible.
Personally this is one of my favourite tutorials on making a lace applique necklace!
Do not to let your feelings (very natural and usual ones) of momentary irritation and discomfort be seen by others; don’t (as you so often did and do) let every little feeling be read in your face and seen in your manner …
I want this whole outfit. Already got a white slip and the perfect white wedges. I could maybe dig up those gloves I bought after seeing Anna Paquin in the first X-Men movie.
Note to self: use flattened boxes for blocking!
