Last time I checked, “pro-life” didn’t mean harm others in the defense of it. Maybe that is why so many people are upset here.

(also known as “Cool pro-life story, bros!”)

  • 7 murders
  • 17 attempted murders
  • 52 bombings
  • 180 arsons
  • 89 invasions
  • 1,211 incidents of vandalism
  • 1,341 trespasses
  • 100 acid attacks
  • 655 anthrax threats
  • 146 cases of assault and battery
  • 375 death threats
  • 3 kidnappings
  • 96 burglaries

This pisses me off.

This is just intended to make pro-lifers look bad.

If there was a post similar to this, except it was with homosexuals, people would be enraged.

But because it’s pro-lifers, people don’t give a fuck.

Pro-lifers do a pretty great job of making themselves look bad. How can you compare gay people to pro-lifers? What possible parallel can you draw other than the fact that they’re a politicized group? Is there some secret history of gay people killing straight people and bombing maternity wards? No.

Pro-lifers committed all of these crimes, and that pisses ME off. 1973 was when women got the legal right to choose. Pro-lifers are directly and violently assaulting that legal right. So, sorry if it hurts your feelings that someone is acknowledging what they’re up to, but seriously, ALL OF THIS HAPPENED.

motherjones:

Louisiana v. Roe
A Baton Rouge lawmaker introduces the country’s most extreme anti-abortion measure. One word: “feticide.”

The article mentions that this is the same man who tried to get the state to may poor women $1000 to get their tubes tied and suggested that there be tax incentives for rich, college-educated women to give birth.
Fuck that. You want fewer poor folks to have babies? Make birth control affordable and make abortion clinics more accessible for folks of all income levels finding themselves in the situation where they may need one.
